Ana Viviana
Mosquera Payares; She is the elementary school English teacher at my
institution, her pedagogical day with students is 25 hours a week, and she is
accompanied during the pedagogical break. Her level is B1, certified by the
Ibero-American Academy of English, and she has a 6-semester undergraduate
degree in English as a foreign language.
Discipline
She likes
to be heard, but she does not like to confine her students in absolute silence,
she feels calm in play activities and laughter that many times take her as
indiscipline, she is still given to change and with this new reality it has
been a bit strict demanding compliance with the protocol.
Personality
The teacher
is an emotional person, she is sincere, honest, kind, she knows how to listen
and advise her students, she is introverted, prudent and loyal, but with her
students she is fun and empathetic.
Social skill
She has the
ability to listen, her social circle is small since she is somewhat shy with
adults, she likes to live surrounded by children, she is very familiar.
Pedagogy
It uses a
practical pedagogy with significant learning, since previous knowledge is
activated, it tries to use real objects or made with recycled material by the
students themselves, for the appropriation of vocabulary posters are made at
home for constant observation, we work with designed guides and with an
interactive platform of the University of Bucaramanga,
Flash cards
are used, children's music is listened to in English and it is sung by
mimicking, for better understanding, scrabble is played, or gallows in English,
interactive videos are observed in which words are pronounced slowly, they also
participate in small dialogues With a partner or performance of dramatizations,
to improve pronunciation, children's movies are watched in English that have
been seen in Spanish.
